A bold, clean take on Parisian chic characterised by the brand’s signature blue facade. Orée is instantly recognisable and stands out from a slurry of hipster coffee shops so prevalent on the high street.

The Challenge

Shed was asked to design a new concept for this French artisan patisserie boulangerie. As a newcomer to the high-street Orée needed to carve out its own unique niche within a busy London market and launch with aplomb. 




The Strategy

The strategy was simple: Stand out from the crowd by owning your heritage. A bold, clean look characterised by the brand’s signature blue facade, with a look and feel that unapologetically leant into authentic French details.

The result is a series of stand out, instantly recognisable design features. The perfect balance of freshness and quality inspired by the product, paired with a comfortable hospitality feel that you want to spend time in.

Clean and impactful displays let the product do the talking, contrasted with unapologetic ornate gold leaf calligraphy and classic French detailing through a modern filter.
