What we did

Interior Design

The Office Group entrusted Shed with a suite of historic buildings in need of new life. The approach was to capture the relaxed grandeur of The Golden Age of Travel, harnessing the classicism and charm of the existing buildings, with a fresh contemporary edge fit for any burgeoning young business wishing to impress.

The Challenge

The brief was to implement TOG’s tried and tested formula of co-working club spaces, rentable offices and meeting rooms across three locations in prestigious travel hubs:

Victoria Station - Belle House.
Marylebone station - Melcombe Place
Farringdon - Greville St.

The Strategy

Capture the relaxed grandeur and elegance of The Golden Age of Travel. An approach befitting the classicism and heritage of the existing buildings. Create an interior that takes you to a world of a bygone era, with a fresh contemporary edge fit for a modern workplace.

The Solution

Shed responded and reinstated all the charm and character the existing buildings had to offer, making sure it was an integral part of the scheme. All the FF&E was designed and procured by Shed. Pairing contemporary layers with rich detailing and stand out art deco pieces.

A Bold New Rennovation

It's a contemporary spin on the 1930s bold and extravagant spirit. You could call it opulent modernism. Significant reconfiguring took place to establish an impressive new main entrance directly off the station concourse.

Ground and mezzanine floors provide linked drop-in workspace, particularly suited to TOG’s members arriving or departing from Victoria Station. There are further lounge spaces on upper floors.
