BUNKERS ... the last remaining safe haven in a collapsing dystopian city of the future. Citizens travel miles from broken suburbs, avoiding the ‘tracker bots’ to escape the mundanity of daily life…they are searching for escapism, fun and friendship...!
The Challenge

Take an existing brand, re-define and re-build with a new brand vision and public facing persona. Re-boot the graphic identity, interior environment and wrap in a compelling story. A new 22,000 sqf Bunkers vision.




The Strategy

Create a brand that redefines and rejects establishment norms, breaking away from predictable market formulas whilst maintaining a single, unifying spirit throughout. Maximise value to client by delivering the brand, interior and fabrication, a complete end-to-end service.



The Solution

This dystopian vision is articulated in not one, but two, crazy golf courses. These ‘Dreamscapes’ surpass the imagination of what you might discover in this secret bunker. Surprising, challenging and deceiving in equal measure, these two courses are the very heart of this newly created world. Players are exposed to a nostalgic past as they travel through the buzz of the 70’s disco cool with a visit to Studio 54, onto Razzle dazzle electro 80’s, a barren Neon Graveyard, finally hitting the first moon landing at the out-of-this-world Space Traveller hole.

Dreamscapes

On arrival the Citizens are greeted by Bunker ‘game-masters’ in the main entrance hall, a double height space overshadowed by the Bunker Bar where all the needs of Citizens are catered for.

Dreamscapes are built further into the fabric of the game-hall, each with a nod to a world the Citizens have left behind. It gave them a sense of nostalgia locked into a bygone era. 

Bringing the vision to life

Each Dreamscape developed a cult like following, with Citizens championing their favorites. Shed manufactured all the Golf Dreamscapes in our Dubai factory facility. Design, fabrication and install took a total of 12 weeks.

Shed partnered with Bluecrow Projects & Bluecrow Metalwork, who together realised the basebuild & general fit-out.
